Hey buddies,
I am running out the door to get some groceries before Matthew arrives, but Mum mentioned that she is tired of seeing my beloved cactus so I will share my latest antique mall/thrift store finds.
there is the best antique mall here on the island, where I have been getting my plant pots.
This yellow beauty cost me all of $2.00 and I will plant more succulents in it.
These enamelware pots found in a half price box, which had a rust spot or two, were perfect for plants especially when I made some more holes in the bottom for drainage.
I always check the Goodwill shops first, not only do they have mark down days, but you are shopping for a good cause:)
Have a great day,
Hugs
Helena
Hi, Great, great containers - were they from the Antique Mall that you and I went to? You have got me hooked now on Succulents - that is exactly what I did not need - to be hooked on even more plants!!!!!!! I planted my first group in the rock planter (from Heather, last but one Mothers Day). It is the perfect container and I love the result. My latest, very small succulent, is now growing inside my very small Trophy Cup ,that I won many moons ago in England for Cross Country Running.I thought I was very creative, especially as I had to polish off years of tarnish before planting. I ignored Torens comment of " Nanny, please dont be offended, but that is the smallest Trophy I have ever seen"!!!!!!!!!! Love you.
