Recycled Beach Glass Earrings

Hey there,

My hard drive died on my computer just as I got Hope back to school and I was ready to get back to "work", but Matt and his trusty leaf blower saved the day. Yes, I did say leaf blower. He opened up the back and blew all of the dust out and it's as good as new. Or as good as an old decrepit hard drive can be:)

These earrings will look very familiar to my Mum because this is what I made her for her birthday Aug 10. Should I say how young you are and get you back for "nagging"me for my lack of blogging?xo

I love beach glass and love to make jewelry with it, although my prized stash is dwindling and it can't be found here in Beaufort or SC as far as I know. Hope Matt and I were avid collectors when we lived in NY, perhaps we will have to plan a trip back soon.

A Posy Pottery Planter

Hey buddies,

I headed on over to the pottery studio last week with my dear driver Matt. I was diagnosed with Vertigo and I'm not supposed to be driving, having to drive over bridges to leave the island, convinces me more.

I wasn't feeling well enough to stay for class but I did pick up my latest piece. The last one met it's demise when it blew up in Trevor's kiln.

This one isn't really what I had imagined but I still like it, I think:)A storm is moving in  so I better shut down the computer.
