Hope was on spring break and I had 2 huge website deadlines due and working at home and being the fun mom don't always go hand in hand. Staying up until the wee hours of the morning to work was the solution. I may look like I starred in the Dawn of the Dead, but it kept the stress and guilt at bay.
Last night we finally had Hope's belated Birthday sleepover and I couldnt keep my eyes open any longer when the clock struck 3???
It was so much fun and they were all so sweet, I think I should've had more kids.
Michael made his famous pizza.(thanks Michael) and Matt raced home from Florida just in time.
Now for some yard work.
This wild palm tree is at the end of our driveway and definately won me over when we were deciding on this house, I sit on the porch carving and gazing at it as some girls would gaze at Brad Pitt.... well, maybe not that much:)
The Camelia bush/tree is one of our newly planted, and just as I was taking this pic. a very cute beast ate one of the blossoms that the squirrels had so kindly left, it was quite funny.
I am off to help Matt rake, plan the bird garden with Hope, and water garden with Michael. We are hoping for Snowy Egrets to visit us.
Happy Saturday everyone,
Please always feel free to leave me a comment and any water garden advice.
